'Blood Ties' Desktop

I change my desktop wallpaper a lot. I guess I'm a bit capricious.

I wasn't precisely getting sick of the Robin Hood wallpaper ('cause, honestly, who could get sick of him?), but I was getting sick of the fact that the image was kind of low-res. I also thought that my wallpaper should reflect my current obsession, and at the moment, I'm actually more obsessed with Blood Ties than with Robin Hood. If you know me, then you may have thought that this was impossible. Obviously you were wrong. I loved this moment in the show, mostly because I thought it was really cute how Henry and Vicki were mirroring each other. And the boots. The boots are good too. I almost fell off the couch because I thought for a second that Henry was wearing high-heeled boots. Don't ask me why I thought that was a good thing. Way too complicated. (It actually wouldn't have been that weird: he is the son of Henry VIII and men wore higher heels back then.)

Oh, for those of you who don't know, Blood Ties is a show on Lifetime (stop laughing, you, it's actually a good show!) about a an ex-cop/P.I. and her vampire partner. And her ex-lover/ex-partner, who is still a cop. Love triangle, yippee! It's based on a book series by Tanya Huff. And it rocks. I'd tell you to watch it but the season is almost over.
